Read and see as many plays as you can as this helps to stretch you in drama to read/witness how plays are produced!

Research the following theatre practitioners: Frantic Assembly, Kneehigh, Constantin Stanislavski, Bertolt Brecht. You can use National Theatre Online Library and Crash Course Drama and Theatre on YouTube to help you get started.

There is also free access to The National Theatre Online Library: You type National Theatre Online Library into google and then enter the Username which is LEJXUS, and then add the password FIKGVD.

Written Tasks

Using the practitoners listed above you can do these tasks to help stretch yourself: You could create a double sided fact sheet on each one or you could write a review of a theatre production you have previously seen. Compare it with a published review online. Did you focus on similar issues as the critic? Do you think the critic was fair?
